May be the last audio journal that believes in journalist accountability.Plenty of back issues to keep the 'snowed-in' occupied. What do you think of it?

Another Senior Moment. I made an edit/add to the original post and the link is now included.

I like "Sound practices" lots of construction articles & mods, some on Altec. I built the
"Mono Phono" by Diego Nardi which we installed in a 1948 Rockola 78' RPM player
"Rek-O-Kut" diamond eliptical needle & triode connected 6L6's....Every one loved it !
Sound Practices Magazine Online ........................GC
I have the CD containing all of the available issues. Breezy, informal style but contains articles espousing unsubstantiated claims.

FWIW, the editor started this discussion forum many many moons ago. He(Geekstar) still visits and posts fairly frequently, pretty darn nice fella too!
I like that it(The Audio Critic) covers a broader range of gear and isn't stuck on just the esoteric high end as it seems other modern publications are. What do you think of it?

Not all vegetables make good leaders.
I did know that Geekstar is Joe but not that he started this forum.
Sound Practices editorial policy intentionally allowed 'voices from the fringe' as part of the wide scope of the magazine. See here, stated up front for all to know: Sound Practices Magazine Online Nothing wrong with that - forewarned......................
OT: When I purchased my Sound Practices CD it failed to arrive. I waited some while before contacting Joe. He said that it was most likely the mail service, sent another and refused to accept any money. This copy arrived in a more timely manner. The original order arrived about a week later with its original postal date clearly showing that had been 'in the system' for a long time. I contacted Joe for a mailing address so that I could return one of the items. Joe said to give it to someone who would appreciate it. I sent it back across the oceans to a member of this forum. Nice gesture by Joe.
